Jocelyn and Brian walked into the building and after a while, they arrived at an office door. She was feeling very nervous and scared at the same time.
"Calm down Miss Lance, my boss does not bite and he is a kind man," Brian said to her and she nodded in response.He opened the door and they entered to see a man facing back and this made his face hidden from Jocelyn.
"We are here boss," Brian said immediately as they entered, waiting for Derek's response.
"You can leave now Brian, I have to talk to Miss Lance privately," Derek replied, still facing back and Brian left the room.
"Don't you think it is high time you show me your face Mr Walker," Jocelyn suddenly said surprised by her own words.
"Patience Jocelyn, Patience," he responded and this made Jocelyn a bit confused. She could tell that she had heard his voice somewhere but she could not pinpoint where and it was mind breaking.
"I heard you have not been a good girl and have been getting into trouble lately," Derek added as he turned to look at her with a smile on his face and her expression went cold. She was shocked to see the guy that rescued her the other day standing before her.
"You're Derek Walker?,"she asked as she was trying to understand what was happening around her.
"Yes I am, I remember telling you my name. It seems you forgot," Derek responded with a sad face.
"No no, I remember your name. I was not expecting to see you here, wow this is the most surprising thing that has ever happened to me," Jocelyn said as she looked at him with confusion.
"You never asked me more about me, if not I would have told you," Derek replied as he sat down with his gaze still fixed on her.
"Yeah that's right, I am very sorry for that," she answered as she also took her seat.
"You look very beautiful Jocelyn,"Derek said to her and she blushed a little.
"Thank you very much Mr Walker,you don't look bad yourself," Jocelyn replied, trying to look and act as formal as she could but it was not possible around him.
"I called you Jocelyn,so you can also call me Derek since we are the only ones here, let's drop all these formalities Jocelyn," Derek spoke looking intensely at her and she became uncomfortable.
"Okay Derek, you have such a lovely place here. I did not know this building was this big,"Jocelyn said as she looked round his office.
"We can take a tour round the building when we're done with the interview, that is if you do not mind,"Derek asked, not sure of what her reply would be.
"Of course I do not mind Mr Walker, I mean Derek," Jocelyn replied with a smile.
"Okay Jocelyn, shall we begin?," Derek asked and that brought her attention back to the reason she was there.
"Yes we shall sir," she replied nervously.

Emily and Amanda walked into their home.they were both tired from the fashion meeting they had. Amanda Walker Brice, her sister, was a successful fashion icon in Westville. She was married to Joseph Brice and they had two children together.She had a son and a daughter.
"Oh Emily, I am so tired and exhausted from the meeting. I never expected it to be so long and exhausting," Amanda said as she sat down looking obviously fatigued.
"From seeing Mrs Williams, I knew it was going to be a tough one, she disliked everything and was quite picky,I could not stand her sight and I did not hide it either," Emily responded as she dropped her bed beside her.
"Yeah, I noticed it too Emily, but you have to be better if you want to succeed in the fashion line. We have so many proud fashion icons and Divas and I assure you that if you continue with the way you are going, you may not really go far in the fashion business," Amanda replied looking at her worried.
"I do not have to kiss anybody's ass Amanda, My son obviously has more money than all of them combined so I don't think I have to tolerate their insolent attitude," Emily said looking a bit disgusted.
"Stop it Emily, You really need to learn to tolerate people if you want to make it in the fashion world, you have a life outside your son and you need to live it sis," Amanda responded but Emily seemed to be lost in thoughts.
"You need to tell him everything before it is late," Emily heard a voice from behind say and she turned to look who it was but was interrupted by Amanda's voice.
"Emily, Emily can you hear me?Are you even listening to me at all," Amanda yelled at her, bringing her out of her thoughts.
"I heard a voice Sis, I heard a voice telling me to tell my son everything I know about him before it gets too late," Emily replied scared as she looked around to see anyone talking.
"I have told you about this Emily, You have to tell him the truth. The fact that you did not give birth to him does not change the fact that you are his mother, you took care of him right from when he was a child, you gave him love and affection and that makes you his mother, so if you are scared of him leaving you or not accepting you as his mother, it will not happen. Derek loves and appreciates you and he will never leave you no matter what," Amanda said, holding her hands as tears fell down her cheeks.
"You really think so Amanda?," Emily asked hoping for a positive reply.
"I do not just think so,I know so,"Amanda replied as she pulled her closer for a hug.
"I will tell him everything when I get back to Oakcoast," Emily answered, still hugging her.
"Okay sister, I assure you that it will all be alright," Amanda replied and they both smiled.
