Little Taotie held the scalpel and poked at the Stone Gate, cutting for quite a while. As they neared the Yellow Diamond, a noise was heard from outside the door.
Lou Lan had returned.
Little Taotie instinctively paused his tinkering, his breathing became slow.
"What are you doing?" Lou Lan sighed from outside the Stone Gate, "I've already seen you, it's too late to stop now."
Little Taotie widened his eyes, suddenly, the Stone Gate opened, Lou Lan walked in holding a phone, and the screen was filled with surveillance footage. It turned out there was a hidden monitoring camera on the Stone Gate, possibly one of the diamonds.
Little Taotie hid the little hand clutching the scalpel behind his back, Lou Lan chuckled helplessly: "I've seen it all."
Little Taotie muttered: "You locked us up first, we were just trying to find a way to escape."
Lou Lan nodded: "You were indeed close to succeeding."
