The Eight Disasters.
Eight events of enormous scale that resulted in an equally enormous number of casualties, all orchestrated by the Demonic Hand to harvest energy from the blood and souls of the deceased, feeding it into the World Formation embedded within the crust of Planet Aidos so that the energy could be used to break open the sealed Dimensional Rift on the Dark Continent.
Of the Eight originally planned Disasters, the Demonic Hand had attempted to execute five of them, with each one ending in varying degrees of failure.
Evan's companions possessed extensive knowledge about five of those Disasters, as he had either informed them about their details in the past or led them into situations where they were able to discover or figure those details out themselves.
