Their march echoes in the stretched concrete hallway, slowly transitioning to the glass wall separating them from the body of water where the school of fish swims. The lights in the hallway illuminate the environment outside, giving sight to where they are. It was no longer under the city, but the ocean floor a few distance from the city.
After a long parade, they arrived at the end of the hallway where a large steel door stood before them. One of the soldiers spoke in the transceiver, informing the person inside of the situation then the door opened, revealing a large chamber of round space, and at the center, a circle table was placed on a step-down floor.
On the other end of the room, a man was facing the wall of glass, viewing the school of fish swimming and the scenery of the underwater. The lab coat he wears has stains of ink and coffee, while his wrist shows visible scars of burn as his sleeves are rolled.
