A small laugh escaped Isiah's lips upon hearing the young man's defiant words. He smiled sarcastically and said, "You knew that you would be killed, right?"
Oliver nodded his head. He believed that being completely honest with the monster standing before him was the absolute best choice he could make.
Edmond kept his head bowed to the stone, pleading desperately, "Don't mind this boy. We will be your servants, we will do whatever you desire, you will be our new king."
Isiah looked down at the cowering servants with profound boredom. "I don't need you," he said coldly. "None of you. You cannot serve me while still desperately justifying why the Sixth King abandoned you and leveled up to Afan. I do not need people like that around me."
"We will be whatever type of people you want us to be. Please, do not hurt us," Edmond begged, his eyes still fixed on the ground.
