Fortunately, he had another talisman that distorted the space around them, making the distance between him and Thien Huo much greater than it originally was.
The former talisman was easy to make and required fewer materials. He had produced quite a lot of it over time and even provided plenty for the three factions. The latter talisman was much less abundant. It was difficult to make and consumed many rare materials. He only had a handful. Hence, he only used it when necessary.
