"Mari, where is momma?" Arya poked her head out of the moving carriage.
"She is in a separate carriage." Marietta pulled Arya from the window and pulled the curtain closed while holding Ember.
"I'm bored." Arya crossed her arms over her chest and pouted. "Why do we need to go to the stupid Capital, anyway?" The Capital was a place she did not remember, and she did not understand why her world was so suddenly changing.
"You shall be safer in the Capital. It is the place you were born. Don't you think a new place will be exciting?"
"I want Red!" Arya flopped onto her side and rested her head on Marietta's lap. Despite her protests, she was taking the trip considerably well. Rubbing her eyes, she drifted off to sleep.
