Since the incident at the office, specifically in Arsean's room, this woman has become even more confident that she can change her husband. Seeing Arsean worried about her for the first time of course made her very happy. If it is said that Zhie wasted the opportunity by not agreeing to Arsean's offer, then that is true, but she did it because she didn't want Arsean to see her as weak just because Bianca had pulled her hair. She had already gained attention, especially since Arsean scolded Bianca in front of her; that was more than enough for Zhie.
Now this woman is getting ready and putting on makeup to look more beautiful, feeling done because she only applied a little, as long as her face doesn't look pale.
And now this woman is ready to go, just waiting for her friend's pickup.
It didn't take long, and finally the one she was waiting for arrived. Of course, Zhie immediately went to meet her friend who had sent a message that she had arrived.
Today Zhie will go out with Jeyra, they were supposed to be with Anna as well, but because of other matters, it's just the two of them.
"So, where do we want to go first, Jey?" Zhie asked as she got into Jeyra's car while fastening her seatbelt.
"Let's go to the mall, I want to buy something," Jeyra replied.
The two women went together to a mall. As expected, many people were there on this weekend, which Zhie actually didn't like; she preferred cool and fresh places, like the beach or natural tourist spots visited when others were busy with activities.
"I'm looking for a beautiful dress to wear to a company event with my family. I thought I might get matched up too, like you, Zhie," Jeyra explained while looking for a dress that suited her.
"Just wear something modest, Jey, don't make it too tight or revealing, unless you want to entice someone," Zhie replied, laughing as she saw her friend's face turn slightly jealous.
"Are you really ready to be married off? What if you end up with a husband who doesn't meet your expectations? And what if he cheats on you behind your back? Would you still want to stay?" Zhie asked, making Jeyra silent for a moment.
"Your question is very scary Zhie, I'm confused about what to answer? But I'm not that stupid to survive. If my husband had a relationship behind me after the marriage then I would be angry and of course end the relationship. Why do we maintain a relationship that clearly hurts us, even if my marriage is only one month old, I will end, if we forgive and maintain? What did you get? It hurts. Men who have cheated once forever will cheat again, even if they apologize and say they won't do it again, it's just a lie. Except for the guy who really wants to change but only a little or even a very big step, the rest is a lie." Zhie replied who was unaware that his words were able to make Zhie come to his senses.
Zhie was now sitting quietly, listening to Jeyra's words, especially since they were so true. Only a foolish woman could endure a marriage where her husband was still close to another woman. So if the man also doesn't want this marriage, does that make Zhie more than foolish? Or is it blind love?
"Hey, why are you daydreaming, Zhie? Are you talking about your own fate? If that's true, then I will be furious at your husband, Zhie," Jeyra assured.
Zhie immediately shook his head quickly, very afraid that Jeyra would find out, because no one knew except the Arsean family, as Zhie didn't want to worry anyone close to him.
"I was just thinking that if you get successfully arranged and married, we might have a hard time gathering again or not because we'll definitely be busy with our own households." Zhie tried to make Jeyra believe him.
"We'll definitely gather, besides, I'm still here and I'll try to come if we want to meet. Anyway, I want to pay for this dress first, I've been looking at this black dress which looks perfect and not too revealing." Jeyra immediately headed to the cashier.
After finishing buying the dress, they finally stopped by a place to eat to fill their stomachs.
"Jey, why do we have to eat here?" Zhie asked irritably.
"You really don't know any beautiful places! The view here is truly amazing. Haven't you forgotten, Zhie, we used to come here all the time?! Oh, I'm sad that we'll be apart for a long time again. Let's celebrate this time together even though Ana can't join us," said Jeyra sadly. "By the way, what do you want to order? Zhie, don't worry, I'll pay for it," Jeyra added.
Zhie smiled happily, then ordered her favorite food, and of course Jey ordered too. As they were joking around, suddenly there was a familiar voice greeting them, causing both of them to stop what they were doing.
"Hi Zhie! Hi Jey! You're here too?" said someone who greeted them, which of course surprised both of them.
"Oh hi Nick, we meet again after that reunion event," Jeyra replied to Nick's greeting.
Zhie immediately looked at Nick as well and smiled warmly. "Hi Nick, are you eating here too?" Even though they had met twice already, Zhie still felt a little nervous around Nick because of the guilt she felt toward him.
Nick nodded his head. "Just happened to run into you. I just got here too; may I join you guys, hmm?" Nick asked politely.
"Of course, please have a seat. Do you want me to order some food for you too?" Jeyra offered.
"No need, Jey. I actually already ordered earlier," Nick replied, then quickly sat down to join Zhie and Jey.
"Zhie, I heard from Anna that you want to continue your studies again? Hmm, sorry if I'm being too forward asking," Nick asked cautiously.
"That's right, that's the plan, and it just so happens that there's a boutique owned by my husband's family. So, my mother-in-law told me to take care of it later, also so I can have my own brand eventually," Zhie explained.
"That's good, Zhie, you really should do that, because all this time your skills were in one field but you ended up working in another. It's like wasting your talent, you are really skilled in fashion, so you should pursue that. Our future famous designer will have her own brand," Nick said jokingly.
"Absolutely, my Zhie always comes out on top wherever she is. She just got a little lost in her husband's company, but I heard from Anna that Zhie is also very skilled at her work.
