Before dawn, Tang Mulin was woken up by Chu Jinnian's kiss.
She glanced at the time; it was just six o'clock.
"I'm going back to sleep for a bit…"
Rolling over and snuggling back into his arms, Tang Mulin muttered sleepily without even opening her eyes, "Did you read the time wrong? I don't want to get up this early."
They were still living in the upscale apartment less than ten minutes from campus, and on weekdays from Monday to Friday, Tang Mulin never got up until seven.
Usually by the time she finished washing up, Chu Jinnian had already prepared breakfast for the two of them.
They would eat and chat, and at seven‑thirty, the two would walk to school hand in hand.
