Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Holy Beginning.

In the high, vaulted expanse of the celestial realm, names carried significant weight, but decadent romantic beauty carried absolute authority that demanded the response of obedience. Gabriel was an archangel, one of the most exquisite manifestations of the Divine Kingdom, a sparkling prince appointed by the Great God himself. He was a creature of soft light, innocence, and startling grace, yet even the most beautiful of God's children, his creations, were capable of the deepest, most sorrowful tarnish. So many would fall if they betrayed him to reprove their worth towards his even more intense seraphic grace of many worldly wings. The wings expanded outward like an unfurling masculine creature among men. Like a wyvern. A light-enveloping almighty one.

"O God, who dispose in marvelous order ministries both angelic and human, graciously grant that our life on Earth may be defended by those who watch over us as they minister perpetually to you in heaven. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever."

His name was Gabriel. Gabriel is an archangel, one of God's lovely chosen angels. It was Gabriel, after all, one of the most beautiful angels, who would have eventually sinned that day.

O thy God, who reigns in the gleaming ministries both angelic and human, graciously grant that our life on Earth, the planet against itself, may be defended by those who watch over us as they minister perpetually to you in heaven, a place beyond the mortal eye that causes demonic fear to the unworthy. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen."
