"How does that work?" Nelphy asked.
But Orsen just shrugged. "No clue. I've never met anyone with it."
"It's one the rarest veita types, even more so than nature veita," Willo chimed in. "Apart from Emperor Falix, I can't think of a bestial veita expert off the top of my head."
That statement sent shockwaves through Jash and Nelphy, for different reasons.
For Jash, it excited him. Even though he didn't have bestial veita, he knew two people that were extremely close to Emperor Falix who could explain bestial veita. Jash also remembered when Bil talked about having no veita type, including a failed test for bestial veita.
Those mental tremors shook Nelphy far harder than they did for Jash. Because not only did she remember Bil mentioning bestial veita in the past, but she knew who Bil was. She knew that Emperor Falix was one of Bil's oldest friends. If there was anyone that could explain bestial veita without having it themselves, Nelphy was certain it would be Bil.
