With a shake of his head, the Sage flicked his fingers, and he sent a single bolt of lightning. Compared to Claude's blood-red lightning, the Sage's lightning was more 'normal'.
It was electric blue in color, and it looked unassuming. It was not giving off any powerful or strong aura as one would expect from a Sage's attack.
Maybe this was actually a sign of being a very powerful mage. Any random attack you unleash could possess power that no one can resist, yet the target wouldn't even know how powerful the attack was.
Considering the earlier warning, the Noble Mage Kirl already expected that the old man might attack him.
