Chapter 25 - A Gathering of Eternal Existences.

"Ladies and gentlemen! I have gathered you here today to celebrate!" Salas's voice was filled mirth as a smile adorned his face. He currently sat at a table in a gigantic hall, thousands of meters in height, width and length. It even had a triple time acceleration! Contrary to all expectations, Salas was not the one sitting at the head of the table, he was sitting in the position directly to the right of it. In the head seat, there was a young-looking man wearing a dark blue robe with white undergarments. It was Liam!

"Today, my friends and allies, we party!" Salas continued as he raised his wine. "For my brother has broken through, and joined the ranks of Eternal Existences!!!"

"I'll drink to that, Ender boy!" a muscular, shirtless, man said. His long silver hair barely tied together, struggling to break free as he aggressively chugged his mug of beer.

"Cheers to your health, Liam!" an elegant lady raised her glass of wine as she smiled to Liam. She then shifted her eyes to Salas, Liam, Mira, Lia, Alex and a fourth man named Nate. "I never thought that the six of you would make it this far...you've come a long way."

"We wouldn't have even made it to our fifth Worlds, if not to you." Liam smiled happily. No one was as proud or happy as he was. He then stood and raised his glass of wine.

"I would like to offer a toast."

All 24 people at the giant table stood, raising a glass of their own, save for the old man who chugged his drink, yet he stood too.

He looked to the elegant woman who spoke, "To Nora, who guided us through our darkest moments and shone a light on our path to the future."

He looked to the shirtless man, "To Karuk, who protected us when we offended the strong, and set our foundations to limitless potential."

He looked to Salas, "To Salas, my brother, who taught me my values and morals. Who protected me at my weakest, and put me in my place at my strongest."

He looked to Lia, "To Lia, my lovely sister-in-law, who helped me reconnect my emotions every time I entered a World."

He looked to Alex, "To Alex, my most trusted friend, who stood by my side even when faced with certain death. Who gave up his life to protect me on multiple occasions."

He looked to Nate who had a helpless and bitter smile on his face, "To Nate, my rival who pushed me to my utmost limit. I almost found comfort in my position before my sweet niece offered me two Life Saver, giving me a chance to, not only catch up, but also overtake my rival."

He looked to a picture, it was placed in front of an empty seat. The picture was of a young bald man who had a bright smile on his face. "To Sam, who inspired our thirst for power, and shared to us his name of Ender. My...OUR brother is still imprisoned, but as soon as Nate, Lia, Mira and Alex reach the power of Eternal Existences, we will free him as promised."

He looked to Max, "To Max, my son, who offered me the strength to go on, and smiled to lift my mood. I believe that even he might become an Eternal Existence before our promise with Sam is fulfilled. At that point, we'd have one more to our force!!"

Liam's expression turned soft as he looked to Mira, "To Mira. My beautiful wife. She saved me from myself."

He then looked to the rest of the people around him. Most were Eternal Existences who showed up to give the Enders' Alliance some face. Plus, who wouldn't like to get acquainted with a new Eternal Existence? While Liam was new Eternal Existence, his power was nothing to scoff at, even for other Eternal Existences!

"To all our allies, who shouldered with us the bad, and get to enjoy the good." Liam looked to the faces around the room, most of them familiar. "Cheers! To our eternal lives and unending happiness!!"

"Cheers!!" everyone erupted. Everyone mingled in groups of 3 or 4 people. Salas, Karuk, Nora and Lia chatted together. Alex and Nate laughed about the old days. Meanwhile, Mira and Liam talked with their son. After all, he was going to leave in a few days. They allowed him to start training as soon as Seraphina entered a World.

"I...I'm kind of nervous dad." Max sighed.

"Come on, Liam! You put pressure on the boy with all that 'one more to our force' talk!!" Mira scolded her husband.

"Hahaha!!" Liam laughed. "I truly do believe it though!"

Max sighed. "So...I'm going to join Sera?"

"Yes." Liam said truthfully. "If you join her World, you can help her if you become the World Lord since you'd regain your memory. If she becomes the World Lord, we can just tell her to get you out."

"What...what if I accidentally kill her?" Max asked.

"Your mission is to claim the World Core and protect Seraphina Ender. I trust in you, son." Liam smiled. "Choose to remember this since it's going to be the only memory you retain."

"How are we going to get me in? Isn't she in another person's World?" Max asked lightly.

"Leave her to me." Liam said coldly.

A few hours later, Salas announced to everyone.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I do apologize but this party has to come to an end at some point. Let us call Law and then everyone can go back to their respective homes."

"Why end it here, Ender?" a very young looking girl said with a smile. "Let us have our fun, man!"

"I truly apologize Elder Neon, but we have a matter of utmost importance to attend to." Salas bowed respectfully. Salas Ender might be a formidable existence even among the Eternal Existences, but even he would be considered above average at best when put on the Eternal List of All.

The Eternal List of All was a list compiled by the oldest Eternal Existences to measure the strength and potential of the newer generations. In the Eternal List of All, Salas ranked 202nd while Elder Neon ranked 46th. Everyone above the rank of 100 was a monster that managed to fully synchronize with a Void Law. Her status was not one to be trifled with. One word from her would send hundreds of Eternal Existences to a war unlike any other.

"I see." Elder Neon sighed. "Well, let us summon Law then."

Everyone else nodded. All the Eternal Existences closed their eyes and gathered their energy.

FWOOSH!!

A violent wind destroyed the table and hall, then everything went silent and cold.

"Why have you summoned me?" Law, the figure covered in a blinding golden glow, asked emotionlessly.

"We wish for a Void Ring for my brother, Liam, who has broken through to Eternal Existence." Salas said casually.

Law threw a Void Ring as it harvested all 10 of Liam new Soul Savers.

"This is a scam..." Liam said lightly.

Law couldn't care less as it took the Soul Savers and left.

"It's for your own good. I made the mistake of refusing the one-time deal." Salas sighed.

"If you had taken the Void Ring, you'd probably rank in the top 150." Elder Neon said chuckled lightly.

"I thank all of you for your help." Salas thanked as he turned to Liam and Max. "Now, let's go meet up with Shira."

-Meanwhile, back in the Kinus Clinic-

"How did I even get to the forest?" Phina asked herself. "I had the Enforcers' uniform so I'm probably one, but what could've made me lose my memories...and why do I not remember anything but common sense and a giant snake named Shira?"

"I wonder who Shira is..." Phina wondered aloud.
