From one of the biggest cities to a swamp in the middle of nowhere.
It certainly was a drastic change of scenery for Lin Fan, but this was the place where his second task was. Which was why he had no choice but to come to this place.
When he arrived, the first thing that he did was call out Hayase.

Hayase had the power to control water, which was why Lin Fan was using his power to keep the dirty swamp water away from himself.
With Hayase doing his thing, there wasn't a single drop of that swamp water that touched Lin Fan. Though he did make sure to make his complaints heard by Lin Fan during this time.
With Hayase clearing the way, it was much easier for Lin Fan to move through this swamp.
