However, Bishop Lucas still appeared to be waiting.
''Fellow Servants of God, ever since this city was built, our diocese has always thwarted evil entities. And this time, we have succeeded as well."
Hearing the bishop's words, the clergymen below the podium looked at each other.
"But Your Excellency…"
"I am well aware of your concerns. The demon I'd sensed is despicably crafty. It is waiting for us to lower our guards."
With hands behind his back, Lucas looked at the candles burning below the huge vertical cross. "As long as the divine array stands, it will not approach Cheshire."
"However, the array cannot sustain for more than a week." One of the pastors voiced his worries.
