As usual, Charlotte Allison wanted to dry Lucas Quinn's hair, but he didn't let her do it. Instead, he dried it partially himself and then used a hair dryer.
Seeing Charlotte finish her milk and plan to look at some documents, he went over and picked her up to carry her to the bedroom.
"Sis, you should sleep now. If there are urgent documents, let me handle them for you."
"Then later review the files sent to the email today and reply; they need them tomorrow." Charlotte didn't insist, allowing him to handle it.
There weren't many documents, half an hour should be enough to finish.
Lucas Quinn originally intended to finish them in the study before returning to the bedroom to accompany Charlotte in sleep, but as soon as he sat down in the study, he felt uneasy and had to return to the bedroom to review them on a laptop.
With that, Charlotte didn't sleep either, leaning against the headboard reading while waiting for him.
