Bella Meyer came back from work, carrying a small cake she bought on the way for her brother, Isaac Meyer.
She spotted a handsome figure in front of the elevator, it was Allen Sheldon.
He stood tall, dignified, yet his expression was indifferent, exuding a stern, cold aura.
Bella hesitated for a moment but still greeted him: "Hello, Mr. Sheldon."
Allen nodded, his voice indifferent: "Hello, Miss Meyer."
After exchanging greetings, the elevator doors opened, they both entered, and Bella noticed Allen pressing the floor button, realizing he was going to visit his cousin just like last time.
By coincidence, the apartment Bella and her mother and brother rented after coming to Kingstown was right next door to Allen Sheldon's cousin.
The last time, she didn't know Allen Sheldon. She saw him through the peephole as he broke open the neighbor's door, and only then she learned it was his cousin's place.
