CHAPTER 6
(Alright readers, 2 days is enough, so let's get to the spicy part)
"Master!"
The loud shouting annoyed the woman. "Shut u..p…or I'll ki…ll you!" a woman staggering, barely supporting her body, screamed at the man behind her without looking at him.
"But,.." refutes the man. Lexus Xian Gyveryn, he was the 2nd best swordsman and vice-captain of the elite squad whose duty is to protect the Queran Empire. As a knight, he followed the righteous way and code that a knight like himself should live. Everyone respected and admired him, whether his talents or looks. But now he had to suffer in babysitting this drunken woman. He happens to be chosen as a bodyguard for the heartless witch since she was a kid. Worst of all, she was his captain.
"MASTER!" the man shouted, seeing the woman stumble on the ground. Lexus approached the woman who attempted to stand up with all her might, he tried to reach her left arm to help but instead earned a threat.
"Do..n't touc..h me! Or I'll spli..t yo..ur prett..y headddd open!" her voice was as cold as the temperature hovering around them. It gives Lexus a chill on his spine, knowing the woman was serious, he shuts his mouth. Goodness sake! He forgot this woman doesn't have a heart. At least, she said he has a pretty head. Lexus retracted his hand. All he can do is watch the woman sway back and forth, barely moving a step.
"Li..ght," the drunk woman whispered. He is truly impressed at his captain's vision, although she had no magic powers, her senses were on another level. The captain's body strength and stamina is no joke, that's why even drinking 2 containers of drunken rouge alone, she still had the strength to move her feet and gave threats to him.
They should stop at the small house, if it's only him then there's no problem. He can walk all night and more without taking a break, but babysitting this drunk woman, he can't endure it, not even a minute. It would be better if she won't spew nasty words and threats, but nah she can't control her mouth for just 5 minutes. He is really unlucky to have gotten a master like her. Just as he was about to suggests, the rude, heartless witch commanded in authoritative voice, "Yo…bas…tarddd…co..me he..reee!, "
Left no choice, he carried her in bridal style. The woman bites and hits him hard. He tolerated everything, so he could retire for the night.
Arriving at the small house, the woman glared at the man, which the man interpret as 'put me down, in instance!' "YOU! Stayyyy here…" The female points her finger at the man and orders him.
Lexus felt like a dog, whose being reprimanded by his master because he did something wrong. His owner is truly heartless, leaving him outside. He glanced at the woman who was staring the door. Without further ado, she pushed the door but it didn't budge. This made the woman tilts her head and smile menacingly. She's clearly annoyed. The habit of kicking doors never left her, despite learning proper etiquette when she was adopted by the landlord.
"Master you should…" Lexus wanted to correct her way of opening the door but was cut off. "Shut u..p…!"
'Knock the door.' He was forced to swallow his words. *gulp.
Meanwhile, the owner of the house was on the corner of the room holding a knife. 'Who are this rude people?' At first, he thought they are thieves but hearing their conversation it seems like they are not. He knew that the uncultured woman was drunk based on her gibberish words but the man next to her wasn't.
He just finished bathing when he heard a loud noise on his doorstep. Not only that, but he was nervous as hell. Only in his robe, he bravely picked the knife in case they would do something ugly. In fact, he didn't expect visitors at a time like this. Its 10.00 pm! Who would roam in this isolated town rumored to be occupied by a ghost? Of course as a longtime resident he would never believe it. He, after all, lived here since his childhood.
He was immersed in thought that he didn't notice the woman smoothly moves the curtain. "We..ll?" she was amused, seeing a handsome man trembling while holding a knife.
The drunk person pounce on him like a predator. He tried to hit her but to no veil she easily caught his hand and grip it hard. Hard enough for him to drop the knife.

Suddenly, the woman kissed him, trapping the man on the window. Dandelion the house' owner was a man with dignity, he avoids women like plague. Because his mother once said,
'Preserve yourself for your future wife. Remember, women are fragile.'
'Love a woman who will make you fluster, makes you feel weak, makes you unable to sleep at night and makes your heart race'
'Pick the one who is gentle, well-mannered, loyal, like flowers, and most of all loves you'
The drunk woman, Akira was annoyed at the man who shed tears while she kissed him. Dandelion tried to shake her off but she was strong even if she was drunk. Annoyed at the rejection, Akira bit his lower lip, making him gasp. Now that the man opened his mouth, Akira took the opportunity to slip her tongue inside. Their tongues touched each other, causing the man to moan.
Lexus who heard the moaning, knew that the girl seduced or maybe forced the young man. A while ago he saw a silhouette of a person hiding behind the curtains, trembling. Because the stranger hid near the window, the moonlight outline the person's stature. They didn't knock nor did they call the owner, so it was understood that they would receive something when entering the house. But instead the woman pounced like a beast at the stranger. He was sorry for the boy.
Lexus regretted his decision. It was a mistake to take her to a stroll. He should have calculated his choices, he should have envisioned what's going to happen when he let the heartless witch loose. Lexus felt a fang in his chest, seeing her kissing another man. They did that too when she was also influenced by the alcohol. He knew that she knew he had feelings for her. Even if they had a one-night stand together she would never return his feelings, after all she was cursed.
He knew that she would never love, nor give love, to anyone after the witch cursed her. Falling in love with her is a mistake, still, he was only a man. He can't help loving her foolishly, because from the very beginning he had loved her. Lexus went outside and locked the door in regret along with the pain he felt.
