Finally, the day of the Grand Ceremony had arrived.
The official ceremony was scheduled to begin in the afternoon, but the entire Night Rider Sect had already become busy long before sunrise. By early morning, almost every preparation had been completed. Servants, disciples, guards, and officials moved throughout the sect, making final checks and ensuring that everything was ready for the arrival of the distinguished guests.
One of the busiest places within the sect was the enormous kitchen complex that had been specially prepared for the event. Close to a thousand people were working there.
However, not all of them were chefs.
Only a small group of highly experienced master chefs were responsible for the actual cooking and final preparation of the dishes. The rest served as assistants who handled tasks such as cleaning ingredients, cutting vegetables, preparing meat, transporting supplies, washing utensils, managing storage, and helping maintain the flow of the kitchen.
