The woman wore a white silk nightgown, her long hair fluffy and covering most of her face.
She leaned on her waist with one hand and touched her neck with the other, barely awake.
Noticing her constant neck-touching, Emma Benson frowned deeply and quickly walked to the window to sit down.
"Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?" she asked anxiously, fearing there might be after-effects like last time.
Fiona Schmidt was startled, seemingly just noticing her entrance. She slowly lifted her head to look at her and after a while, smiled and said, "Good morning, sister-in-law, up so early today?"
"Early? It's not early now..." Upon hearing this, Emma Benson's brow furrowed tighter, intuitively sensing something was off with the sister-in-law.
"Not early?" Fiona turned her head, glanced at the clock on the wall, and froze, "Quarter past eleven? I've slept this long!?"
Why didn't she feel anything? She thought it was still morning!
