I know it's been over a year, but don't hate me. I swear I was looking for my rough draft. Honestly, though, when you're looking for something, it never turns up, and that's exactly what happened here. I found it about a couple months ago, and I decided I wanted to get a few chapters written out before I uploaded them.
Besides losing the draft, I also want to say I was going through some mental health issues, and it got even worse when my MawMaw got sick last year around March. Her health was already deteriorating because of the onslaught of diseases she was diagnosed with. But in April last year, we discovered she was in the final stages of renal cancer. How it went undetected for so long, we're not sure, but yea. My MawMaw sadly passed away last year in May, and I took the time to focus on healing.
I also want to say that for now, the second book for Midnight Moonlight will remain on pause. I normally need to go into a dark headspace to write some of what goes on in that world, and for now, I'd like to avoid that and I prefer to work on this book.
