After they exited the portal, Jiu Shui saw ten members of the Nine-Headed Serpent Race cultivating seriously. Some of them already had seven heads, and the weakest of them had six.
Jiu Tou Sen woke them up and introduced Jiu Shui to them, but their reception was not positive, making him feel daunted by their presence.
After all, they were much older than Jiu Shui, and they didn't like his origin from the Three Mortal Realms. Even though they had never heard of or gone there, they knew that it was worse than the Paradise Realm, so they underestimated him.
