I arrived at the capital city of 23rd district, the blackwater city which was also a demon dominated city.
The structure of this city was different as it was not surrounded by walls but an golden barrier and upon contact with it, I knew the trick I used to infiltrate snowflake city won't work but I didn't had any intention of infiltrating this city by using any trick.
"Show us your Id and your purpose for visit."
A burly guard asked me at the city gate whose red eyes stared at my ether mask as he looked down on me with his 7 feet tall physique.

Not few seconds has passed and he confirmed my identity and handed me my identification crystal.
"Your purpose of visiting blackwater city?" The demon guard asked clearly neglecting my baron status because I was human and I was about to show him my teleportation pass that is when someone interrupted us.
"A lowly guard like you don't deserve to know his purpose." An authoritative voice resounded from inside the city gates and we both turned to look at the newly arrived entity.
He was a human and demon hybrid because even after having all the humanoid features, the person had 2 pair of long curved black horns on his head, his eyes were blood red and in a sense he resembled vampire, but vampires didn't exist on this planet, so the most likely guess is that he has merged with core of a demon.
"Viscount Vesper, I didn't knew he was your guest, please forgive me for my impudent behavior." The demon guard said bowing in front of viscount hurriedly clear fear evident in his eyes.
"Only if you haven't offended our valuable guest?" Viscount vesper said smiling toward me waiting for my answer.
"Keep your attitude in check; others might not be as considerate as me." I said glancing at the demon guard one last time.
"Thank you my lord, I will forever be grateful." He said and moved away from us while I left the inspection area with viscount vesper.
Genesis has already informed me that they will send an escort who will accompany me from city gates to teleportation gate so that I don't encounter any trouble but I didn't think they would actually send a nobleman whose status was even higher than me.
Inside the city gates a carriage was waiting for us which were tied with two tiger like demonic beast whose body was golden in color with size of 3 meters each.
We both boarded the carriage and the carriage soon started to move toward the center of the city which was more than 100 kilometer long and wide as per my observation.

I accepted the small box and opened it, inside the small box a ring with blue gem engraved on its center was placed carefully on red velvet stand.
The ring faintly permeated the soul force of his own which attracted my attention and I used system's identification feature because merlin was sleeping.

Riding the carriage with viscount vesper I looked outside the window where commoners were lined up there head bowed on both sides of road as our carriage passed by them toward the center of the blackwater city where a majestic black tower same as snowflake city stood but 10 times bigger.
When I entered the tower with viscount vesper nobody bothered us with any formalities as even guards standing at security gate didn't check our permits and we arrived at the top floor of the magic tower by standing on the floating passage.
I showed a demon mage my permit to travel to another territory and he confirmed its validity in his records as well as with the source teleportation gate.
Upon receiving confirmation he nodded at me and led me toward the teleportation gate which was a circular structure with nothing between and had various runes inscribed on its surface.
With multiple hand gestures the portal lit up with green and white light and I could see the other side of the portal a similar room in which I was standing now.
"I shall take my leave my lord, hope you have a pleasant journey hence forth." Viscount vesper said and at my node he left the top floor of magic tower.
Without much hesitation I stepped inside the portal and a sudden drowsiness followed me behind which shook my whole soul.
I got creeps from deep down my soul which vanished as soon as I appeared on the other side of the portal in an instant.
The portal behind me closed as its light faded away and I was greeted by the new attended who has already arrived to escort me to the territory of earl simon.
