I watched as everyone panicked as Aizawa revealed that he would expel the last student on the list.
The first Event is a 50 meter dash which I volunteered along with Iida as we both got ready at the starting line. And unlike Iida who was in a running position, I got into a pouncing stance.
This confused Iida and the class but before they could question it, Aizawa yelled, " Start."
[ Shadow Step ]
A 3 meter head start and used it again once I reached the 25 meter mark and using it the third time at the end.
" 2.54 seconds." The machine announced Then Iida's, " 3.04 seconds."
" Haha! Man your fast." I patted Iida's shoulder as I walked past him.
' Legs already tiring… not enough.' I thought as I walked towards the class to watch the rest perform.

' 3.04 seconds… that's fast, like a fish in a water which is expected. But Kuro… 2.54 seconds. Combined with his animal physique and shadow manipulation he boosted his explosive speed.'
' With control like that, he's already ahead of his peers.'

The second Event, Grip strength.
" 540Kg!? What are you a gorilla? Or an octopus?"
" Ah! I broke it." I muttered as I dispersed the shadow enhancement on my arm before noticing the bruising before it started fading.
" It's alright, they're old models anyways." Aizawa Sensei replied as he noticed the bruising fading away before taking scores.
The third Event, Standing long jump.
" Yes, I made it." I smiled as I looked back to see Bakugo passing by with his explosion.
" Outta the way loser!!" He shouted as I dodged.
" Hah! I made further than you!" He celebrated.
" Does it really matter? We both landed across the field." I raised an eyebrow.
" Of course it does!" He argued.
" Heeh… how childish." I smirked before leaving to the next event.
" You bastard!"
The fourth Event, Side stepping.
Seeing the short purple haired moving back and fourth inspired me to copy his strategy. And that created a spark inside of me. Copying quirks or at least mimicking them.
And this reminded me of a character of a WEBTOON I've read, The Joker. I didn't remember much only bits and pieces because of how long it's been.
Remembering the shape and how they bounced, I easily created the balls which helped me bounced back and forth.
' Ugh, that's gonna give me a headache.' I thought as I held my head.
The fifth Event, Throwing.
" Since you've already thrown, you can sit this one out." Aizawa said as I nodded and watched as Uraraka throw the ball into space and Aizawa revealed an infinity symbol.
' Unreal…'
And next came Midoriya, shaking from nervousness as he stared at the ball gathering the resolve to throw in the cost of his arm.
But just as he threw the ball, I noticed Aizawa's eye turning red as Midoriya threw the ball at 46 meters.
" W-What! But I used it…" He muttered, confused looking at his arm as Aizawa stepped forward.
" I erased your quirk." He announced.
" That ridiculous entrance exam… completely irrational when you consider someone like you got in." As Aizawa spoke to Midoriya, my cat ear managed to hear someone by the corner.
Glancing back, I saw All might as he noticed I was looking at him as he quickly made a shushed gesture, sighing I nodded and looked back at the drama unfolding.
' Well, I can't be passive forever.' I thought as I made my way towards Midoriya as he thought over Aizawa's words.
" You've got your quirk back… give it another go and get this over with." And just as he finished, I stepped forward.
" Midoriya."
" Kuro?" He looked up, his eyes wide.
" You should focus on the power at a small place instead of your entire arm." I patted his back before stepping away as Midoriya thought over my words.
Although he would've figure this out on his own, but I wanted to build our trust and his adjustment to his quirk.
Midoriya managed to throw the ball, which surprisingly didn't break his arm except his finger.
" This kid…" Aizawa grinned as he saw the score. 705.3 Meters.
I clapped, happy for Midoriya before Bakugo tried to lunge at him.
" DEKU!! THE HELL WAS THAT!!? EXPLAIN YOURSE-!"
But before he could reach him, Aizawa quickly captured him with his scarf.
" What a waste of time, get ready for the next event."
" Is your finger okay?" Uraraka asked Midoriya.
" Midoriya."
" Oh! K-Kuro! Thanks for the advice."
" It's alright, here let me help with that." I smiled as I wrapped a shadow bandage over his finger.
" Thanks." He winced as the shadow wrapped his finger.
We began the next event which was an endurance run, then sit up and etc as we finally finished the events.
" Well… that's no surprise…" I muttered as I looked at the ranking.
[ 1. Kuro ]
" Also, I was lying about expelling someone, that was a rational deception meant to bring out the best of you." He explained before walking away.
" WHHHAAAAATTT!!!" The class yelled as I covered my ear and I noticed someone staring at me or specifically my ears as I glanced at her.
' Jiro, Earphone jack.' I thought silently as I focused back at the class before we showered and changed.
But just as I was changing back to my school uniform, I was approached by a few of the guys.
" Hey man! You were great out there!"
" Yeah! Getting first place. That's so manly!"
" Thanks." I smiled.

" Aizawa, you big fat liar!" All might appeared in front of Aizawa who stopped to glance at him.
" All might. So you were watching. Good to know know you don't mind wasting time." He replied.
" A rational deception? April fool's was last week, last year… you expelled an entire class of first years! You mercilessly discarded those with zero prospects. But you now go back on your word? Could it be…"
" That you also see potential in that boy Midoriya as well?"
" As well?…"
" You wil be supporting him which isn't your usual style but.."
" he doesn't have no chance. That's all I can say…. Though if there's someone that does, it's Kuro."
" Kuro?" All might looked at Aizawa in shock.
" Excetional control and adaptability with his shadow. And shockingly replicating his classmates quirk. And I've also found something new as well, he's able to heal broken bones in seconds."
' Whether that's because of his special physique or his shadow quirk, that's to be determined.' Aizawa thought.
" As yes, I've seen what he could do. Truth be told, I do have high hopes for him." All might admitted.
" Unlike Kuro, I would've cut him lose if he showed no prospect, nothings crueler than letting someone try to achieve their half baked dream." Aizawa left after saying those words.
" Than let's agree to disagree." All might spoke as he watch Aizawa walk away.
