"Is the morning sickness still bad?"
The baby was already five months along, and Caroline's belly had grown noticeably larger. Compared to previous months, the pregnancy symptoms had significantly lessened this month.
"Much better."
Caroline didn't really know what her current relationship with Samuel was. In fact, when she decided to keep the baby, it was a statement of her attitude and gave Samuel hope.
Will the two of them reconcile?
Perhaps they will.
But not now.
"In another month, the filming of 'Bright Moon' will wrap up, and I'll take a year off to be with you and the baby."
Samuel truly wanted to make amends, but he was afraid Caroline wouldn't give him the chance.
"No need." Caroline directly refused, "There are so many servants in the villa, and my mom is at home with me every day. You should focus on your work. I'll let you know if anything comes up."
Seeing Caroline still distant, Samuel felt quite helpless.
