I moved towards the field on my own, joining the crowd that were gathered there for the combat event.
At this point, most of the people around weren't paying much attention to me though I figured that it was more because they didn't recognise me.
Most of them were gathered around a table with a female Mahun seated behind it which I assumed was where the contestants would register to participate in it.
I joined the line and wondered if they really placed one person here to handle the registration of all the people around here.
Still… The line moved relatively quickly and it was soon my turn and the person spoke without looking up at me.
"Number?"
I blinked at her, completely not expecting that question.
I mean… I was expecting her to ask for my name or something but what did she mean by number?
I tilted my head at her, "Number? Err… Sorry but… I don't know what you're talking about?"
