Several days passed quietly as Erend remained in Leonora. He spent most of his time waiting for Eccar, Sylven, and Aesa to awaken inside his private room.
After speaking with Velrion, Erend had been given a room of his own for a very particular reason. He needed a place where he could safely train himself to control the Black Rage without endangering anyone else.
Naturally, Velrion had agreed almost immediately. The Archmage had no intention of allowing Erend's unstable power to affect the surrounding Magical energy or cause an accident while experimenting with something as dangerous as the Black Rage.
The room itself wasn't luxurious. In fact, it was located directly beneath Velrion's tower rather than within the royal palace's more extravagant quarters.
Erend had never cared much for luxury anyway. All he needed was privacy and safety. More importantly, he wanted to ensure the safety of everyone around him rather than his own.
