"What do you think it is?"
Xia Hongmian exhaled and kicked away a piece of gravel.
"I don't know!"
The tunnel was narrow and cramped, like a winding goat trail. The torch light barely reached a distance, casting a dim glow only within seven or eight meters around them. Beyond that, it was utter darkness.
Being in this tunnel, one felt a tremendous sense of oppression.
If someone had claustrophobia, they could be scared to death.
"Have you noticed that your skin feels sticky?"
Xia Hongmian asked in return.
"Hmm?"
Lin Baici was wrapped tightly, also wearing goggles, with almost no skin exposed.
He felt some dampness, but he always thought it was from sweat.
"Over time, our skin will melt, followed by flesh and bones. In twelve hours at most, we'll turn into a puddle of mush!"
Xia Hongmian explained about the rule pollution.
"Are we now inside a monster's stomach?"
Lin Baici widened his eyes, carefully observing the surrounding walls.
"Not a monster, but a god!"
