It was obvious that Elise Don was very happy.
She reported the battle situation to Oliver Bloom: "Besides the competition, I also had dinner with the board in the evening, got those old guys settled. Today is really a lucky day!"
Elise bent over, trying to pull the handbag from the backseat to show Oliver the small trophy inside, but she seemed too rushed and got the direction wrong. As the bag was pulled over, everything inside tumbled out.
Things like her phone, lipstick, tissues, a small bottle of fragrance spray, a kraft paper-wrapped sketchbook, and a Hello Kitty power bank spilled out onto the console and under the front seats.
Elise exclaimed, "Oh no," and began to pick them up.
Oliver raised his hand and turned on the light for her, spotting the sketchbook stuck in the seat crack on his side.
He stretched his fingers and pulled it out.
