Nancy Allen lay by the bed, puzzled, and said, "Godfery Shaw, what are you thinking about? Close your eyes and sleep, the doctor said insomnia means you shouldn't stay up, otherwise I'll sleep on the sofa, and you can take the bed."
Nancy always felt that one sleeping on the bed and one on the sofa was a bit odd, but she couldn't quite tell what was wrong.
It seemed like Godfery Shaw should be lying next to her, but maybe not on the same bed.
Nancy didn't know, amidst those collapsed and chaotic memories, that she and Godfery Shaw once had a large combined bed.
