The more black holes there are, the closer this 'time period' is to the 'End of the Universe,' and simply put, 'Aether Life Forms' become less able to survive, and the life existing in this space-time will become fewer, or be 'collapsed' into the Singularity of the End.
If within a time period, all stars turn into black holes, then from this time period onwards, all time until the universe ends will be completely controlled by the End, unable to be utilized by Star Gods and other Aether life forms.
And for mortals without the knowledge to transcend time and space, from this time period onwards, all creatures would be 'extinct,' as the universe heads towards extinction, towards a prolonged demise.
This is the 'scorched earth tactic' of the End.
A 'timeline battle' that gradually occupies the past from the future, spreading towards the 'Beginning of Creation.'
Currently, in the battle between Star Gods and the End, the End holds the upper hand.
