Under the morning sun, the battlefield lay adorned in the aftermath of the relentless conflict. Nico and Daichi stood on opposing sides, their swords poised for battle, yet their hearts weighed down by the unspoken emotions that lingered between them. The air was heavy with the scent of blood and the echoes of war, a stark contrast to the serene dawn that painted the horizon.
Each movement bore the weight of their unacknowledged connection—a history woven with shared moments, unspoken sentiments, and a bond that defied the divisions of their current strife. With every clash of steel, the echoes of their inner turmoil resonated in the crisp morning air.
Their duel had become more than a mere battle—it was an intricate dance of conflict and restrained emotions. Each strike carried the weight of unspoken words, each parry a silent plea for understanding amidst the chaos that enveloped them.
Daichi's movements were deliberate yet burdened, his once-steady resolve now faltering under the weight of conflicting loyalties. His sword swung with precision, but his heart was in turmoil, torn between duty and the unspoken longing that gripped his soul.
Nico, too, fought with determination, her movements a graceful yet restrained expression of the emotions she dared not vocalize. Her gaze held a depth of understanding, a silent acknowledgment of the bond that bound them even amidst the battlefield's turmoil.
Their clash seemed endless, the ebb and flow of their duel a testament to the unspoken conflict that waged within them. The morning sun climbed higher, casting its warm embrace upon the worn combatants, painting a fragile tranquility over the battlefield's devastation.
As the skirmish continued, a fleeting moment of hesitation flickered across Nico's countenance. Her eyes met Daichi's with a profound understanding—a silent pause in the relentless dance of combat. In that moment, she lowered her sword, a subtle yet profound gesture that echoed across the battlefield.
Daichi, caught off guard by the unexpected ceasefire, mirrored her action, his sword slowly finding its resting place by his side. The tension between them softened, replaced by a fragile truce that hung in the air like a delicate web spun from their unspoken connection.
The world around them seemed to fade into insignificance as they stood across the divide, their unspoken words creating an invisible bridge between their hearts. In that suspended moment, the chaos of battle muted, leaving behind only the echo of their intertwined destinies.
Nico took a step forward, a quiet resolve in her eyes as she extended a hand, an unspoken invitation beyond the conflict. Daichi hesitated for a moment, his heart torn between the echoes of their shared past and the uncertainty of the future.
With a breath that carried the weight of decisions unmade, Daichi reached out, his hand meeting hers in a tentative embrace. The touch was a revelation—an unspoken understanding that transcended the boundaries of their allegiances.
Their eyes held a silent conversation, words unspoken yet understood. In that fleeting moment, the world around them stilled, and the cacophony of war faded into a distant memory.
As their hands parted, a mutual understanding lingered in the air—a promise of reconciliation beyond the battlefield's constraints, a recognition that their hearts would seek each other amidst the chaos of their diverging paths.
"Daichi… I love you…" Nico said, looking up at his eyes. Daichi sighed.
"Maybe I could say the same… But… Until then… We'll stay enemies…" Daichi said.
"But why don't you agree… Zai abilities made this world into a living hell… Ever since they dropped those bombs decades ago… Our world has nearly come to extinction multiple times…" Nico said. Daichi sighed, grabbing her hands.
"Zai abilities bring the world balance… If you killed every person on the planet with a zai ability, people would go to wars exactly like they did decades ago…" Daichi said. Nico sighed, looking down at the ground.
"Dai-Kun-" Suddenly, there was a loud explosion in the distance. Nico grabbed Daichi's arm in fear.

Yuki stood on the road, watching two men approach on a small boat. Yuki clenched his fists. The two men arrived on land, standing across from Yuki. Yuki raised a brow, noticing one of the men wore a black sweater, gloves, black pants and a black bag over his head. The other was a man who more a military combat uniform and a ski mask.
"Who're you two…?" Yuki asked. The man wearing a ski mask, removed it, revealing himself as Goro. Yuki had an angry look on his face, remembering when he kidnapped Callie. Goro smiled, removing the bullet proof vest he wore.
"Happy to know you remember who I am…" Goro said. Goro sighed, removing the bag from the other mans head. It was revealed to be Kousuke Homura, Yuki's older brother. Exactly as he looked when he fought Haruto. Yuki raised a brow,
"Who's he…?" Yuki asked. Goro smiled,
"I don't feel like I need to explain that right now… All you need to know is he will be your opponent…" Goro said. Yuki sighed, putting his guard up. Encrima's then appeared in Kousuke's hands, with the tips sharpened. Yuki groaned,
"We're using weapons!!??" Yuki complained. Kousuke then appeared behind Yuki, preparing to cut his neck off. Yuki's eyes widened, turning suddenly. Yuki put his hand in front of the encrima's tip, making it holt mid swing. Kousuke appeared behind Yuki, preparing to stab him in the back. Yuki's eyes widened as he vanished, reappearing a few yards back. Yuki clenched his fists, gritting his teeth.
"This guys fast... I have to be careful..." Yuki said. Kousuke walked toward Yuki slowly. Goro grinned, seeing the two fight.
