"What did you say?"
Fry, who ought to be the leader of the Shaven Empire delegation, was taken aback. Clearly, he hadn't caught the low murmur from Jiawen just now, and seemed somewhat puzzled.
"Things you don't need to know for now."
Jiawen waved her hand, offering no further explanation to Fry. She simply withdrew her gaze from the shuttle-shaped airship in the sky, opened the message panel, and read once more the message her boss had sent about an hour ago. Her black eyes, simulated by Thousand Faces to look 99% like Sin Knight's, overflowed with excitement, flashing momentarily with a charm most men could never possess.
Of course, this fiery glow was fleeting; Jiawen took less than half a second to calm her somewhat turbulent emotions and once again immersed herself in deep thought over the message her boss had sent earlier.
Despite the scant information, she could still sniff out a strong and familiar sense of discord...
