The two of them walked on quietly for a while again, but since Double Leaf had already "cooled off," this time they were walking side by side, instead of like before, one in front and one behind, each with their own little schemes.

The girl lazily replied, still walking forward on her own. Her pace wasn't exactly slow, but considering her legs, which looked long only in terms of proportion and weren't actually that long, Motan had no trouble keeping up with her.
"You asked me before, 'Since I'm going to die sooner or later, why don't I ask a few more things before I die,' remember?"
Frank Hughes scratched his cheek and said softly, "And you also questioned the answer I gave you."
Double Leaf raised her beautiful brows, her tone still lazy and indifferent. "Mm, that did happen. So what?"
