Gu Shen hesitantly began to speak, wanting to discern whether this was the voice of Heart Lake or an ancient message lurking within the Dream, so he probed cautiously.
The golden master within the Dream didn't respond to Gu Shen but rather asked himself,
"What year is this?"
"It should be New Era 647." Gu Shen thought for a moment and replied somewhat clumsily.
After all, he had been trapped beneath the Ice Sea for nearly six years.
"...should be?"
This statement from the Lord of Love caught Gu Shen off guard.
The other party promptly countered based on his words.
He stared blankly at the golden figure on the throne, which seemed so unreal amidst the swirling gales.
This was certainly not a whisper left in the Dream.
Then... the response could only come from his own Heart Lake.
The flame of the Lord of Love had extinguished; it couldn't possibly be the Lord of Love himself from a thousand years ago, could it?
