"Where are we goin Olive?" Crimson asked as the rest of the group followed behind him.
"Up ahead is a great sightseeing place. We're almost there just keep up okay!" Olive rushed on ahead as everyone watched for a moment, then thought it must be truly a sight to see if Olives rushing there.
As they arrive they find themselves staring out at a large open lake of dark blue water, with different formations of mountains surrounding it.
"This cliff, is known as Blue Escar Peak. Its one of the best spots to come if you want to find a view to remember."
"How do you know so much about this Olive?" Pasley questioned, but Olive continued on ahead. Sliding down the descending steep hill before them. His plan was to reach the lake. Everyone else followed behind, even Dive who was worried and hesitating to go, but was dragged along by Pasley and Chaya.
"Wow! Look at all the passageways through these mountains!" Root shouted as they reached the bottom.
"Stay behind me, if you don't know where you're going you could get lost." Olive said as he began maneuvering the passageways slowly.
He was smiling as he continued squeezing through some of the thinner passageways. They even had to stop and pull Matoto through as he got stuck between some of them with his build. Eventually they escape the maze of the passageways and found themselves at the foot of the lake.
"We're finally here!" Pasley said as she darted ahead of everyone to embrace the view.
"Wow." Crimson said blandly.
"You could be a little more excited Crimson!" Pasley shouted at Crimson.
"Sorry, sorry."
Everyone laughed at Crimson's reaction.
"So why'd you bring us here Olive?" Matoto questioned as he found a nearby rock to sit down on.
"Well, believe it or not. Down at the bottom of this lake is a hidden entrance to some hidden treasure from the previous king!" Olive said with emphasis on treasure.
"T-Treasure? Of the old king? That's not logical at all..." Root said as he began opening his log book of information. "There's nothing in here from all my time of data recording of old treasure from the previous king."
"Not everything can be logged! There's so much stuff we don't know of and of course you wouldn't have heard it from anyone! We're just kids! But I know it exists!" Olive shouted.
"Olive, I don't think they're gonna believe us." Mayze said with a timid tone.
"Mayze, tell them about it! Tell them what you saw!"
"B-But I already told you I wasn't sure if It was really there!"
"Who cares if they don't believe us, if they don't want to be rich then why would it matter. More coin for us!" Chaya said with her pompous attitude.
"Alright, alright! If you guys have some sort of actual proof it exists then we'll help you. But if not then why even bother." Matoto said as he emphasized his gesturing.
"Well if you must know, take a look over there, from about this angle." Olive positioned himself as he directed the group to his spot. "Then look about there in the water near the edge."
As the group took a some what identical spot to where Olive was they notice small flickers coming from within the water.
"At this hour everyday that spot only has flickered. Putting that with what Mayze has seen can only mean there is something there!"
The crew looked at it and noticed it's flicker disappearing from time to time.
"So Olive, how come you haven't just dived in with the group and swam to it?" Root questioned
"W-Well I would but there's something big in the water."
"Big, What do you mean? Like some sort of fish?" Pasley asked worriedly.
"Something of the sorts, have you ever heard of a Phincar?" Olive asked.
"Oh you mean the fish with mouth pincers like an insect? Ones that grab hold of their prey and cut it into pieces before devouring it?" Root said as he read through his book.
"Exactly! Their pincers are known to be able strong to be able to Escar's strongest material. Which means any of us could die if we ventured into its domain."
"So that's why you haven't tried yet. But why bring us here?" Crimson wondered.
"I thought you guys would be able to help defeat it so we could get it."
"A fish that can cut Escar's strongest material huh, sounds like a piece of cake honestly." Matoto said with a grin as he stood up and get prepared to fight it.
"Now, now don't be hasty. Without my battle plans you'll simple perish within an instant." Root grinned as he put his book in his backpack.
"You guys are seriously crazy, I don't think I've ever meet anyone willing to do something so dangerous." Pasley said with her hands held together to her chest.
"Sheesh, I guess the decisions been made. Well Olive, it seems you have your shoot. Lets do this." Crimson smirked as he gave a big thumbs up to Olive.
"Alright Root, prepare a plan, since we know what we're up against you should be able to come up with something easily." Crimson began plotting out the team. "Chaya, Dive, Pasley, you three will be support till we need you. Wait on the sidelines and if anyone gets injured pull them out while the others keep Phincar busy." Pasley shook her head as Dive looked away timidly with a small head nod, as for Chaya she crossed her arms and jerked her head to the left.
"Alright Crimson, Matoto, Olive, Mayze, and I will hop in. Crimson you'll distract the Phincar first and the rest of us will come in from the sides and pincer attack it to start off. This should give us enough time to deal more damage before it recovers. However once that happens Olive and Crimson will head for the entrance to the treasure."
"I'm putting my trust into you guys to come out of this alive! Got that." Crimson shouted at his friends with determination. "We're going in now! Prepare yourselves this thing is nothing to take light."
As the guys turned towards the water, they prepared themselves and jumped in ready for whatever happens in this encounter.
