Chapter 1 - Prolouge

Author : This is a rewrite. This book was one of my earliest work, five years ago I think. I am just rewriting some things while fondly looking back on my bad writing and grammar. I will be changing some things as well to make the plot better.

[1st POV]

It was dark.

Very dark.

I couldn't see any light.

I couldn't see the end.

The beginning nor the edge.

It was utter darkness.

It was black, devoid of other colours.

The blackness seemed to swallow up all colours and my entire self.

With none of my senses and with the nothingness around me, I only had one thing to do, and that was to ponder deeply like the great philosophers before me.

Socrates, Plato, Aristotle and the bunch. All of whom pondered 3000 years before me but could never think a fraction of the grand questions I had.

Imagine having nothing to do at that time in history but still never thought of the most important question?

Why was I so awesome?

Why was I so great when compared to everyone else, both present and past? I had a feeling that someone comparable to me might come in the future, but that was only because the future never happened.

Someone as awesome as me? Yup, never happened.

...

...

I'm just so fucking awesome.

"Will you stop that?" I asked in a serene and calm tone. My voice carried a gentle touch like the winds of spring brushing against your skin, softly caressing your being.

Upon my voice, there was light in the eternal darkness. So bright was it that it nearly blinded me.

The blackness was gone like it had vomited all the other colours it swallowed.

If you already didn't guess that I just opened my eyes, then fret not; it was proof that you were not as good as I.

What greeted my eyes was the image of a fat kid eating crisps. He was about the age of 7 with looks below average.

Eh, maybe not. My standards were surely high when compared to me. So you could imagine him being above average from your view.

"No," he said without even looking at me.

"Didn't you hear the Doc? He said to do something that calms your mind. Eating calms my mind," he huffed.

"Yes, I heard him, but can't you do that without disturbing others?" I was calm. Surely I was.

Finally, he turned to me. His eyes were unblinking as he picked up another chip and shoved it in his mouth, his very actions daring me to respond.

After he chewed loudly, he stilled for a few seconds.

"See? I am not disturbing anyone."

"You're disturbing me." My tone must've been gentle. Surely, it must've been.

"You? What's to disturb?" He tilted his head. "You're just sitting there."

"It's called meditating," I said, and he looked confused.

I see. Oftentimes my genius creates a natural border between me and the other extras. Even though he looked much older than me, he must not know what meditation is.

"Meditation is a practice in which an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state." I explained exactly as Google did, word for word, bar for bar.

It was truly a wonder how I could memorise things so perfectly at my age.

"Who.." He tilted his head more.

"Well, you see what I meant was..-" He cut off my sentence.

"....Asked?" He finished, and a little smirk hung on his fat fucking face!

Ah, he pulled that one. An old technique indeed. I had not seen this technique since last week in the park.

I also see that the effect remains potent, because I was already grabbing his collar and pushing him on the ground before I even realised it.

Still, I was calm.

"LISTEN HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT..." I said gently on his fearful face. My other hand already creating explosions.

"Do you know how much I care about this anger management therapy?!" I asked at his face. He was already sweating; his face was wet. Or was that my spit?

He wordlessly screamed. His head was shaking left and right rapidly when he saw my quirk activated. I shall guess that he was quirkless. No, that was too generous of an assumption. He probably had a quirk, but it was probably shitty as hell.

"NOT ENOUGH TO SPARE YOU!!"

I gave him an exploding slap right at his face. Strangely enough, though, my attack left a red mark and some black, but he wasn't knocked out.

A defensive quirk? Maybe all that fat was there for a reason.

"A defensive quirk?!" I bellowed, "Imagine being born to a punching bag!!"

"HELP!!" he shouted, and the other people inside the room also panicked.

I couldn't give a lick of care though. I was way too calm at the moment.

"WHO ASKED!!??" I yelled in his face. I was going to beat this little shit, shitless.

But before I could do that, a villain came upon me. I turned to look at the villain.

"KATSUKI BAKUGOOO!!??" Her face distorted in anger.

It was like looking at a mirror.

"He bullied me!!" I explained myself.

But it was all too late.

It was truly my anger management academia.
