"Where did they go?" Penny asked anxiously the moment she stepped back into the living room, only to find those two no longer there.
Where could they have gone without her?
"Mommy, didn't you say daddy is back? Where is sister Diamond? She didn't leave without saying goodbye, did she?" on the other side, Gracelynn was starting to become emotional after failing to see the person she was eager to see.
Her mother had promised her that Diamond was waiting with her father but where were the people? Her mother could not have lied to her, right?
When those questions were posed, the butler hurriedly responded, not wanting the mistress and the young miss to have thoughts that they shouldn't have.
"The master and Lady Diamond are outside. The lady's boyfriend just drove through the gates."
When Penny heard that, she sighed with relief. She almost lost her bearings for a moment there.
