A few nights later, the brothers attended a grand ball at the Candy Kingdom. The air smelled like caramel and excitement. Princess Bubblegum was introducing a new suitor named Ricardio. He was a giant, walking heart with a voice as smooth as chocolate.
"He's so charming!" the princesses whispered.
Finn was gritting his teeth. "I don't trust him, Kael. He's too... red. And where are his eyes?"

Kael used his Elemental Attunement. Instead of a happy party vibe, he felt a rhythmic, wet thumping sound coming from Ricardio. It wasn't the sound of a heart in love; it was the sound of a machine.
"He's a rogue organ, Finn," Kael whispered. "He's made of the same ancient, twisted magic that the Ice King uses. He doesn't want to date the Princess he wants to harvest her."
They followed Ricardio into the dark woods after the party. They found him in a clearing, standing over a kidnapped Lady Rainicorn. He was holding a jagged bone-saw, preparing to perform a "surgery" to make a "Heart Bride."
"Get him!" Finn yelled, jumping from a tree.
Ricardio was faster than a normal man. Being a pure muscle, his reflexes were insane. He dodged Finn and lunged at Kael with a sharp blade.
SNAP.
The blade hit Kael's chest and shattered into pieces. Kael's Elemental Resistance had made his skin as hard as iron. Ricardio stared in horror. "What kind of human are you?!"
"The kind that knows where your valves are," Kael said. He grabbed Ricardio, using his knowledge of anatomy to pinch a major nerve. Ricardio collapsed, pulsing a sickly shade of purple. Finn finished him off with a powerful "Hero Kick," sending the heart-man flying deep into the Forbidden Forest.
