"She works in the entertainment industry??" Ivy asked
"Yeah she'll be my special adviser she has a lot of experience in that domain" Leo responded
"Thanks a lot for your help to my brother Elvira" Ivy said passing a glass of wine to her with a smile on her face
"No worries I'm so happy he chose me to be his help and you can call me Elle we aren't strangers anymore" she replied all smile taking the glass of wine. Ivy smiled and nodded her head.
Their dinner went on smoothly with Ivy and Lina accepting Elle invitation for an outing whenever they're free. They could see that Elle was really in love with Leo and they were happy and supported their relationship. After their dinner Leo offered to send Lina back but she refused saying that she has already booked a taxi she waved them goodbye waiting for her ride.
While waiting a white car stopped I front of her thinking that it's her ride she entered the back seat without looking away from her phone
"I knew you had a pea sized brain from the moment I met you"
That's when she realized that there was another person in the car. She looked up and saw Dave giving her a teasing smile
"Jesus Christ what are you doing in my ride??" She asked with her hand on her chest trying to calm herself down from the shock she received her expression was clearly that of annoyance
"The question should be 'what are you doing in my car'" Dave asked with an amused expression.
Lina looked around noticing that she was in the wrong car she took her bag trying to go out but out but Dave caught her hand
"Since you're already in lemme drop you home"
Before she could say anything Dave asked his driver to start driving. The ride was awkward as no one was saying anything Lina was looking at Dave from time to time he seem to be busy doing something on his laptop.
When she noticed that he wasn't looking she focused on his face then is when it came to her that she had never really taken her time to look at him he had dark hair and a well defined jawline, let's not get started on his build up ypu could see he loved the gym.
"Love what you see??" Dave asked with s teasing smirk
"Absolutely" Lina replied before she could even understand what was going on
A smile appeared on Dave lips
"I….you….we??" Lina was flustered she tried to come up with something but her brain had flew through the car window not giving her a chance to think
"We...??" Dave asked closing his laptop and leaning into her. She was flustered and began shifting on her seat but her back suddenly hit the door of the car and there was no escape route for her.
"What about we??" Dave asked again
Lina who was super nervous replied "I never said 'we' I said 'oui' you know meaning yes in French it's not my fault if you don't understand French you know"
"So you mean you found me attractive to the point were you had to respond in French??" Dave said trying to hide the smile that was threatening to show on his lips
"Who said I was answering your question I was just practicing my French with Duolingo" she replied with a smug smile showing her phone to him. Lina gave herself an imaginary tap on the head for being so quick witted.
Mr driver was trying so hard to stifle his laugh but Dave still heard him and gave him a death stare
'I'm sorry boss' he said in his mind and quickly put up the car partition
