David was waiting for Journee to come out while busy in his thoughts.
"Should I talk to her father? No, no, what am I thinking about? She will kill me, and no one will be able to find my dead body or even a single speck of my DNA. She is not some property that I need permission from her father for. I need to woo her on my own. I need to ask her on a date. But with the Hall family and all, I know she is never going to say yes. She has this mission, find Zachary Hall. How am I going to help her with that? Please God, please, let her see how much I love her," David kept thinking and staring at the door behind which Journee had disappeared.
Within a minute, the door opened, and Journee walked out in a hospital gown. Even in a hospital gown, she made David's heart skip a beat. She came close to him and asked, "I have a tampon on. Would that create a problem?"
"Huh… what?" asked David as he didn't hear a single word out of Journee's mouth. He was busy staring at her.
