"Where am I?" she asked.
"Baby, how about you just take your bath and get dressed, then I will tell you everything as we eat," he said, hoping she would agree to his terms.
"No, Geb!" she said stubbornly. "I need an answer now! Where am I?" she asked again, this time with more audacity.
Geb let out a heavy sigh. He contemplated within himself whether he should tell her the truth or manipulate her to agree with him, but then settled on telling her the truth as she must—and was going to know it after all. He took a deep breath before finally speaking.
"You are in ancient Egypt."
"What?!" Nessy gasped. "What do you mean? I don't understand. What are you saying?" she asked, confusion written all over her face. She couldn't understand what Geb meant.
"Calm down, Nessy. Relax, okay? Just let my handmaids freshen you up, and we will talk later, okay?" Geb said softly as he placed his hand on her shoulder.
