There in Qatar, the bird and his mate stayed in their nest with their young among the stands of Lusail Stadium. One night, the bird suddenly awoke crying out:
"The queen fell upon the mountain into a pool of snow!"
He began to weep bitterly.
"Something has happened to my queen. I can feel it. We grew up in the same house. It feels as though a part of my heart has stopped beating."
The female bird heard him, embraced his head gently with her wings, and whispered:
"It is only a troubling dream."
But the bird's crying did not stop. His chirping grew louder and louder until the little birds joined him in sorrowful cries and trembling chirps.
Later, the bird spoke to his family:
"Everyone has left, and this place has become empty, as though it were inhabited by ghosts. My children, you have all grown up now. Each of you has gained the strength to fly and wander freely. Your mother has cared for all of you with love and patience.
You were raised in a spacious home high above Lusail Stadium, unlike the queen and me. We once lived at the top of a mountain, then descended from it and settled in a narrow house. After enduring the hardships of life, we finally found a spacious place to live beside the great stadium.
I advise you not to continue living in comfort and idleness. Do not become too dependent on us. You must face life bravely and overcome every hardship you encounter in order to earn your own spacious home.
Soon, I will leave this place. I want to wander through this vast world, to fly once more and remember the longing of my father, whose memories are carried to me by the breezes of the air. I wish to return to the first place where I was raised.
Goodbye, my children. Goodbye, my beloved. I will see you again soon."
