Nate never knew that the system can preserve his medals for future use till he has multiple of them at a time. Regardless, the bronze medal has just given him a skill worth the effort that was infused into obtaining it.
The horde spoils skill was something else, although it might not contribute much in a fight, one thing was for sure, Nate would not be bothered when losing a strong horde member, he could simply just assign the skills and power of the horde that died to another horde member and he could continue with his life.
They are three people Nate was having in mind when thinking about how the skill works, that's why at this moment, he decided to rush things a bit and carry on with the interrogation.

All the new zombies that Nate tamed and initiated into his horde were already at their peak of going through their first evolution after being initiated by Nate and also absorbing the meteorite stone, so most of them were now at the peak of evolving, and only needs a small amount of extra energy to evolve.
Nate would have wanted to upgrade them with one or two of the beast crystal since it was just a little amount of energy that was required for each, but, the number was just too great and even if it was a little, with the numbers it will at least take five or more crystal to upgrade them into the next evolution.
Regardless of this, Nate was still working on it, he was still thinking about how he should raise their levels, and the only way was by engaging them in a fight, but so far, there has been no fight against them so Nate could only wait.
Zombies are creatures that easily adapt to things and by putting his entire horde into a fight, though many might die, there will be some zombies that will end up evolving, but the opportunity never came after the fight with the zombie hunters was over, but just now, the system just offered him a free way to upgrade all his horde members.
Of course, this upgrade includes Peter, Mark, Twain, and Levi that was present and were even the reason Nate has the reward in the first place.
Hopefully, Lyon, Dike, and Bull were included in the reward, with this Nate's horde just getting stronger in just seconds.

Meanwhile, outside, all the force-initiated zombies started to fall on the road as their evolution process begins.

Inside the training room, Lyon and Peter were sparing, while Levi and Twain were sparing also. Bull was lecturing Dike, on how to fight with different weapons and even hand fight.
But all of a sudden, they all stopped what they were doing, this was because they could feel the rising of power inside them and they all looked in the elevator direction.
"How did he keep doing that?" Twain asked amazed.

Meanwhile, in the sitting room, Nate was looking down from the sky at the zombies outside as they slowly got up from the group after their evolution was over, though Nate did not know how strong they have become because he did not have the time to start thinking about that, one thing was certain, the zombies are stronger than they were before.
With that being done, Nate quickly checked his status since he has also leveled up.

Nate felt like, at this point, his agility and strength must be at a great higher level than the others, this was because of the other zombie type he had fought with.
Although ghouls are mainly blessed with speed, when the momentum of the speed is infused into a strike, the outcome with being devastating, and those are things Nate really wants to avoid. Though it could have been finer with endurance, they were another problem.
The ghoul's body is too tough for one to kill with just a few strikes, the ghouls also have a great amount of endurance so for Nate to face off such an opponent in the future with ease, he has to increase his speed to a level that he could match up with a ghoul, then a strength that should be strong enough to do some harm to the ghoul.
With that also said, Nate, checked out his skill.

It allows the host to take control of any of his horde members in the three categories of horses. The host could still use all his skills when possessing a particular zombie but his vitality will be of that of his horde member]
Once again, Nate was eager to find out how the skill worked and the good news is that he can try it out now and then and that was what he did.
Activating the skill, names of the hordes he had was listed out for him. And there was even a dose with blank names. Nate only chose the ones he know and that was Peter.
He felt his vision getting blurred slightly, but when it cleared, he could see a red fur hand being thrust towards him. Nate didn't have the time to scan his surroundings and raised the spear scythe and thrust the edge at Lyon's armpits pushing the latter's hand backward.
It had hit a vital part and this has paralyzed Lyons hand for some seconds before it cleared out.
Lyon looked at Peter in shock. "How did you do that?" He asked.
There was a smile appeared on Peter's lips as he said. " I was just checking something out," he said.
Lyon couldn't have been more shocked as he shouted out. "You can talk?!" He shouted attracting the other's attention.
Meanwhile, Peter did not give any reply as he looked at Lyon in a daze. Nate had long left Peter's body. Meanwhile, Lyon still have a lot of explanation to do as the others were now looking at him with questions mark.
'Was I hallucinating?' Lyon wandered.

Meanwhile, Nate was already back in his body and he could not stop the smile that was on his face. he proceeds with trying it out on the other zombies.
Regardless of this, there is still a question that Nate was finding hard to answer. 'When I take over a zombie's body, what will happen to me, will it exchange our personality or would it just act on his own?' Nate was finding it a bit hard to find out what happens when he takes over a horde body, however, he knows that thinking about it will be too much for him because it doesn't seem like he would be getting his answers anytime soon.
He will only be able to find out once he starts putting the skill to use more often.
With that gone Nate's mind drifts back to the zombie hunter man.
"It's time for me to get the answers to my questions," he muttered as he started heading toward Mark's lab.
