Caught off guard by the Serpent Maiden's sudden decision to teleport them to some other place, the first thought Valyr had in mind was to ask where she had teleported them, as well as why she had teleported them in the first place.
Yet, when he sensed the dense yet pure Shadow Energy flowing throughout their current surroundings, those thoughts came to a grinding halt as another thought surfaced within the young man's mind instead.
"Did we…?"
"Indeed, we did." Though Valyr was unable to finish his question, the Serpent Maiden already knew what he wanted to ask.
"We have arrived at where the Overseer is staying."

Just as those words left the Serpent Maiden's mouth, the Shadow Energy within the surroundings began to flicker all of a sudden, eventually transforming into a faint flickering haze that seemingly covered the entire space.
