Benedito, the little snitch, first went to go ask Doctor Otto if I would be allowed to have food outside of the hospital. Luckily for him Doctor Otto said yes as long as it was healthy and non-greasy. That was how I ended up with a salad that had beef strips and a healthy green juice that tasted like dirt, but I preferred dirt over anything else.
It took everyone a few hours to let me rest and by the time Benedito and I were left alone it was 9pm. We had not gotten a chance to speak properly since I had woken up and I had no idea why I was so nervous. He first helped me bathe before he helped me onto the bed.
I could walk by myself but it was still getting a little bit of two stepping for me to be perfect again.
When he rested me on the bed, he sat down next to me and held my hand. It was the first time I had fully gotten a chance to look at him. He was a mess. Anyone could tell he had been going through it for the past five days.
