I am sitting at the carriage, while Lady Criseta's carriage is behind me. I am all alone at my carriage, watching the people to wait for my wedding.
Nervousness is all over to my body, my heart seems like it's about to explode any minute, but I tried my all might to calm down and to keep my posture, because this wedding is a must.
The carriage stops at the front of cathedral, the leader of knight spades of Gribe was the one who opened the door of my carriage, and helped me to went down the carriage.
All of the nobility is here, watching me to walk at the aisle, and the emperor is waiting inside.

A lot of knights went inside the cathedral, the nobles are starting to panic and to run around the cathedral, running for their life because a lot of mercenary was here, killing the other nobles who's mostly, the enemy of mine.
The archbishop is glaring at me, pull out some knife and smirk.
"You're a bad omen that they said, your presence is a curse, the same as your eyes!" He went to my direction and attempt to stab me, but my eye silk falls off, while I am hugging the emperor at my arms.
The archbishop stop moving and the knife falls, he loose balance and kneel in front of me. Crying, like he's fighting the urge to stop or continue at attacking me. He is begging, seemed he is tormented right now.
"I love you—" the emperor Blake said, but he didn't finish it, his hand falls and I feel that my chest went lighter, and his body slide down to my thighs.
I feel relief that he is dead, why?
"Her royal highness!" Lady Critesa and her father was behind her, the other knights was with them and they helped me to stand up, I slowly put the eye silk and the emperor Blake was being taken by the other knights.
My whole body is shaking, I can't even see the whole place, my eyes are blurry ans I can't breath properly.
"The mercenary king is here, we need to be extra careful this time, the princess of Drivike might become a target also!" Father of Lady Criseta said and they assist me to walk and holding the hem of my gown.
My mind is clouded by the happenings today, a lof of knights are laying on the floor, all of them are busy at protecting me, not until Prince Kier came, running to my direction while holding the sword, full of bloods.
I feel that my knees will fall at any moment, I will collapse, I don't want to become burden to this people who's protecting me.

I saw Akeldama, he's smiling at me and blow a kiss. I ignored that gestures, people might see that the Mercenary King did, and I might be become one of their suspect at the assassination of the emperor.
All of the people of Gribe empire are hiding and when they saw Prince Kier, they cheer and the mercenary group started to vanish now.
I can't breath, but I manage to keep my eyes open, seeing them around.
This isn't right, and I didn't expect that the emperor will die at my thighs. This isn't what I want, even though I want the existence of emperor vanish, or it's me who will vanish here at the empire.
My mind is occupied by my thoughts, until the mercenary king, Akeldama was standing in front of the knights that is protecting me now.
"Hand me the princess, and I will spare you, so this empire won't die." Akeldama show his hand, as if the things will handed to him anytime.
"Do you think tha Princess Delaney is a possession or trophy of your killings?" Prince Kier raised his sword to Akeldama's face.
"I didn't say that she will become a possession or accessory of my success," Akeldama said and smile to me.
"She's mine." I saw how Kier's brow went up, and roll his eyes, before laughing hard.
"Fuck off, or you will die in my hand." Prince Kier helped me to stand up, and I went between them.
"Stop making this scene, just go, Akeldama." I said and look away, he just smirked and kneel in front of me.
"I told you, I will do everything for you, my princess." Akeldama reached my hand and kiss it, before leaving.
No one dares to talk with me, but Prince Kier hugged me once again.
"Let's find a safe place first, whoever saw that, I demand you to keep in on your own," the prince said and helped me to walk.
"Stay here, there will be an emergency meeting since my brother died." I nod slowly and watched Prince Kier close the door, and Lady Criseta was beside me, helped me to remove my gown and change my clothes.
"Your highness, calm down for a while, I'll help you bathe, there's a lot of blood at your gown and skin," I look at my skin when she said that, and there's an urge for me to vomit now.
Too many blood, I collapse and my eye silk removed, Lady Critesa's face went pale when she saw my eyes, but my tears fall instantly.
"Do you feel anything odd, Lady Criseta?" I asked her and she shook her head, now I am curious. I tried to command her to kneel, in my mind, but she's still standing.
"I am fine, your majesty, but a little bit nervous." I finally let a deep sigh and feel a relief.
"That means, you're not affected by my curse," she looked even more surprised and look to my eyes once again.
"You're so gorgeous, your majesty. Your beauty is breath taking." I can sense amusement at her voice, I can't hide the embarrassment because I was never get a compliment from a girl.
"Stop, you're making me blush." I said and she helped me to get up, and walk to the bathroom.
I am sitting in front of the mirror, while Lady Criseta is cleaning all of the blood of the emperor.
I am saved, emeperor Blake died at our wedding day. But now, I don't know what will happen, because I don't have a plan at all.
All I want before is to become saved from the threat that the emeperor Blake said to me, now. I am directionless.
Should I go back to my own country, or stay here. But I know that I don't really have a place to my own hometown, my father will never set his foot to my mansion.
"You highness, whatever your decision is after the transfering of the crown to Prince Kier. I will always stay by your side, and I will be your lady in waiting, I'll go with you no matter what." I looked at Critesa who's busy at scribing my arms.

"Maybe you have a good heart, that's why you're not affected by the curse." I explained while combing my hair with my fingers.
"Or your intentions to me is pure." I looked at lady Critesa, she's smiling and get the towel after washing my back.
"Of course, because it's an honor to become your servant," she said sweetly and I wrap my body with robe, before walking out of the bathroom.
I changed my clothes before some loud knock makes me stop admiring my face from the vanity mirror.
I gently put back my eyes silk, before looking behind me.
"Your majesty, the nobles want have a discussion with the newly emeperor." I nod and stand up, lady Critesa was walking behind me and we reached the convention room.
All of the nobles was there, even Critesa's father and the Duke.
"It's a pleasure to you here, your highness of Drivike empire." They all bowed their heads and I smile to all of them.
"We want to discuss, about the terms and conditions that our late emperor have with your father, and we still need to ask permission from you after all, since emperor Blake died today." I gulp and sit peacefully at my seat.
Listening to what they are discussing.
"We need empress, and you're the only one who's fit for that seat, a daughter of the powerful emperor of neighborhood country, and we suggest to continue your wedding, with our new emperor, the emperor Kier." My eyes almost drop, not by the decision of Kier, being an emperor, but being Kier's empress.
I can't see myself to marry the brother of my late fiance.
"Wait, what?" I said and look at Kier.
"Pardon?" I said once more and they looked surprised, if Blake is dead, then my contract with this empire ended.
And there's no way that I will fulfill that seat, they should find other candidate than me, I will never marry Kier, and I want a peaceful life.
"No, I won't do that. My contract with this empire ended when the emeperor died. Now, find a new candidate who's more capable than me, I heard that you all are looking down on me, I am lacking and I can't guarantee that I can fulfill that seat, find a crown princess and I will go back to my empire." I said and they all looked surprised by my decision.
"E-even I, are against that idea, she's already the fiance of my late brother," I finally breath freely when Kier agreed on me.
They all look disappointed with my decision and how Kier agreed on my idea.
"But for the mean time, we will investigate on how the emperor killed at his own wedding and we will held the funeral tomorrow, and a week later, the coronation of our newly emperor." Duke Gabriel said, and they all agreed with it.
"And as what the princess of Drivike said, we will respect your decision, her majesty." I smile on them.
I mouthed thank you to Kier when he looked at me, but why he looked disappointed? Or it's just my imagination.
