A three foot tall rock rhino is standing right in front of me amidst a sandstorm, Buizel looks bloody exhausted and I'm just staring at the field with a dead look on my face. How the fuck is ALL THIS the first gym?!
"Rhyhorn use Curse" OH FUCK OFF BROCK, this guy is setting up with Rhyhorn as well!
"Buizel we don't have time for this shit, hit it with Water Gun!!" I shouted, Buizel blasted a Water Gun through the sandstorm. It hit Rhyhorn and did decent damage but the sandstorm was heavily dampening the damage we could do.
"Use Rock Blast, Rhyhorn!" called out Brock, four massive rocks came flying at Buizel.
"Buizel blast forward with Quick Attack!!" I need Buizel to be able to weave while using Quick Attack, we either figure out how to do that now or we lose!
Buizel blasted forward with Quick Attack and dodged past the first rock but ran right into the second rock, he went flying back. This battle is not going well in the damn slightest right now!
"Close in and hit it with a Horn Attack Rhyhorn!" exclaimed Brock, I need to attack and defend at the same time or I'm screwed! Wait why didn't I use that?!
"Buizel spin on your back and use Water Gun!" Buizel didn't even flinch at the weird ass command I just gave, he immediately started spining like a top while using Water Gun. The Water Gun was forming a spiral around Buizel creating a shield, a counter shield!
Before Brock could realize what was going on Rhyhorn got caught in the counter shield and started getting ping ponged like crazy. Brock looked like he just saw a ghost.
"What the hell is that!" shouted Brock, I guess I broke that whole mysterious gym leader façade.
"That's my ultimate offence and defense, the counter shield!!" I said with a grin on my face, Rhyhorn was taking an insane amount of damage by being stuck right in the middle of the counter shield.
"Rhyhorn quickly use Bulldoze!" said Brock as he finally snapped out of his shock, the Bulldoze cut off the counter shield harshly and dropped Buizels speed a little as well.
Both Rhyhorn and Buizel were staring at each other, both have taken some insane damage, Buizel's bruises were turning dark purple and it wasn't looking good. Rhyhorn itself was barely able to stand. If only Buizel could only use Aqua Ring, unfortunately he has it as an egg move but isn't able to use it yet.
"COME ONE BUIZEL WE ARE GOING TO FINISH THIS RIGHT NOW!!" I shouted at Buizel who seemed to have entered a zone, he could hear me but he was hyper focused on the battle.
"Buizel use Sonic Boom!" Buizel blasted into the air and sent two Sonic Booms right at Rhyhorn, he also sent two more in the shadow of the first. This was a strategy we had worked on back at the lake.
"Rhyhorn use Smack Down!" called out Brock, it managed to slap away the first two Sonic Booms but got caught by the last two.
"Rhyhorn use Bulldoze!!!" screamed out Brock, the Bulldoze got us good and dropped our speed again. I don't think either side can take another hit, this next turn is gonna end this battle. ITS NOW OR NEVER!!
"WE CAN DO THIS BUIZEL COME ON!!!" I screamed out, I never knew I could be this passionate about something in my life. I lived my whole life just not caring, now I found something that I'm truly passionate about. I won't lose, I CAN'T LOSE!!
My passion got through to Buizel who let out a mighty roar into the sky. Then the sandstorm started to fade and small droplets of rain started to come down. Buizel figured out Rain Dance!
"God damnit that Buizel learnt Rain Dance!" cursed Brock, without the sandstorm boost Rhyhorn is not living a single Water Gun but Buizel isn't surviving anything either.
"RHYHORN USE ROCK BLAST, FULL POWER!!" shouted Brock, five rocks blasted forward at Buizel.
"BUIZEL BLAST PAST THE ROCKS WITH QUICK ATTACK AND WIN WITH WATER GUN!" I shouted out, then the whole world slowed down. I could see everything perfectly, Buizel started to move at speeds he's never gone at before. In a world in slow motion Buizel alone looked to be moving at normal speed.
Buizel zig-zagged past three rocks, he seemed to speed up as he stomped his foot down each time to switch directions which sped him up further. His hands moved to behind his back as he ran with his hands behind him, as the fourth rock approached him he weaved right under the rock and blasted forward with water starting to surround him!
"GO BUIZEL!" I shouted out as I felt a connection with Buizel I had nothing to compare with.
Buizel stared right through the fifth rock flying right at him, his tail started to glow a bright white color. I instinctively knew it was Iron Tail, I couldn't explain how I knew.
Buizel jumped above the rock and batted the rock away while using it to blast toward Rhyhorn with even more speed. The water surrounding Buizel completely covered him and he moved like a missile right at Rhyhorn.
Brock seemed shocked by what he was seeing, his eyes actually open for once. I felt the connection between Buizel and I fully open as I could see what Buizel was seeing, I was underwater blasting so fast I couldn't even see where I was. I knew exactly what move we were using, this would end this battle. It had to...
"AQUA JET!!!!"
The explosion the followed caused dust and sand to blast everywhere, Brock and I had to look away from the field. Once the dust settled we were able to look back at the field.
Buizel was standing over Rhyhorn with his hand raised as he let out a victorious roar!
We did it! We won!!
