A star once fell on the land of Teyvat a few thousand years ago, but unlike other shiny shooting star this specific one was burning in a dark aura absorbing the light from the night sky turning nothing but darkness, earning it the name "The Dark Star" among the people of Teyvat. It was said from one of the greatest astrologists who foretold this day, when the dark star has fallen from the sky a war will begin and was well known as the Archon War. Once the Dark Star has fallen to the land of Teyvat, the world will suffer from the darkness brought within the star and the dark army will raise lead by the Prince of the Void himself, interfering the war only between the archons.
Although the dark army was strong, the archons and the people of Teyvat were not to be underestimated. When the war started to reach its conclusion, the dark army was defeated, and the Prince sealed himself in a deep sleep after his defeat, healing and waiting to strike again. The Archon War ends, seven archons remain, and seven nations survive as long as they have their seven elements. Peace had been restored to Teyvat following the war, and few remembered the intruders of the previous war; not even the archons told their people about it, as it had been long forgotten as if nothing had happened. Maybe it was forgotten, maybe it was nothing but a bad dream, but the archons will never forget the day when many lives were taken by the hands of the void.
