Lailah felt her body heat up.
Everything about her was so uncomfortably warm that she couldn't stand it.
She felt like crying. She was pretty sure she already was.
Agony consumed her. Visions flashed by in her mind too fast for her to see.
However, that didn't mean she couldn't feel the death breathing down her neck.
Something… terrible was on it's way.

Lailah screamed as she sat up.
"Honey, honey, it's alright! It's me!"
Lailah slowly stopped her screaming as she got a better grasp of her surroundings and realized where she was.
Her husband held on to her hand firmly as he stared into her eyes with a worried look.
"You're safe. You're at home. Nothing and no one is capable of hurting you."
Lailah swallowed as she brought her shaky hand towards her chest.
She looked down and realized that her nude body was submerged in ice water.
"W-Why am I in the bath..?"
"Your body temperature was really high, love."
"How high?"
